The purpose of our deaf ministry here at Bethany is:

To help deaf people develop an intimate and growing relationship with the Lord Jesus;
To train and empower deaf believers to tell others about the Lord Jesus;
To equip deaf believers to explore, develop, and use their gifts and talents by serving others in the Bethany church family, the local community, and beyond.

Description: Bethany Community Church has established a Deaf Ministry Team to help accomplish this purpose. As a result, deaf people are leading and serving in a broad range of areas such as:

Visual Worship and drama, communications and publicity, web team, missions, facilities and grounds maintenance, special events, children's ministry, and Bible teaching

Activities: Another way to help accomplish our purpose is through specific events and activities. Many of these activities are church-wide events in which deaf and hearing people interact together. Some activities are hosted by the Deaf Ministry for deaf people.
