'Experience' - The Youth Group at Bethany Community Church
Purpose: Experience exists to introduce students to Jesus Christ, help them build a personal relationship with Him, and encourage one another to live for His glory.
On Sundays, the main focus of the youth group is to experience God through the Bible, worship and relevant and age appropriate teaching.
Middle School: The Middle School group meets every Sunday morning during the 10:30 AM hour in the "Pulse" in the basement (right by the elevator). Dave Malkiewicz leads this group (themalks@verizon.net).
High School: The High School group meets for Bible Study at the home of Tony and Ruth Thompson (white house behind the church) on every Sunday of the month except the first from 6:30 to 8:15 PM. Russ Nemec leads this group (rnemec@mac.com).
On Wednesdays, the main focus of the youth group is to experience Connection between the students themselves and the adult volunteers through short devotionals, group games and student testimonials. We encourage students to invite their friends to this time. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 in the multi-purpose room.
Weekly Newsletter: Each week, we send out a newsletter of youth happenings to teens and their parents, so please be sure to provide email addresses for your family. Every month our youth ministry sponsors special events including concerts, special event parties, game nights, lock-ins, retreats, service projects, evangelism opportunities, and special youth training.
