Purpose:
- To help deaf people develop an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus;
- To enable deaf believers to explore, develop, and use their gifts and talents by serving others in the local church, the community, and beyond;
- To train and empower deaf believers to tell others about the Lord Jesus
Description: Bethany Community Church has established a Deaf Ministry Team to guide & equip people in accomplishing these purposes. Under the guidance of the Director, Deaf Ministry, the ministry team structure parallels the leadership structure used throughout the Bethany Community Church.
Activities: Another way to help accomplish our purposes is through specific events and activities. Many of these activities are church-wide activities in which deaf and hearing people interact together. Some activities are hosted by the Deaf Ministry for deaf people and include:
