Men At Bethany

Men love coming to Bethany because we practice what Peter Marshall, the chaplain to the United Senate, once called muscular Christianity. Men at Bethany realize that growing in a relationship with Jesus, the carpenter from Nazareth, is the most important thing we can do. We also know we can't be who God wants us to be when we try to go it alone.  So we seek to grow and serve in the context of community.  Accordingly, men at Bethany play an integral part in community life within our church family, serving and leading in such areas as:

Small group ministry, facilities and grounds maintenance and management, prayer, web team, audio-visual support, youth and children's ministry, worship, deaf ministry, Bible teaching, computer network support, finance team, communications and publicity.

Men at Bethany also have a strong sense of mission beyond our doorsteps, serving the larger Laurel community, the Central Maryland region, other states and even other countries. Examples are:

Local service projects, community kids fishing derby, Community Emergency Response Training, Winterhaven, hurricane relief efforts in the Gulf region, Andros Island Bible Camp, BCC-DCT Partnership in Deaf Ministry (Tanzania), and more!
